CED commits to produce competent and patriotic teachers imbued with professional and technological knowledge, skills and values that can respond to the existing needs in the community.

 

CED Goals

CED aims to provide quality instruction, research, extension, and production that will equip the students with knowledge, skills and values for them to be responsive to the demands of society.       The teacher education programs of the University have been accredited by the Accrediting Agency for Charted Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) with Bachelor in Elementary Education Level I status and Bachelor in Secondary Education II status as of 2012. This pave the way for the excellent passing percentage always above the national passing rate. And in 2010, it has finally produced an overwhelming three (3) topnotchers with Ms. Risa Pacatang in the tenth (10th) spot and Ms. Cherry Mae Corong  and Mr. John Wayne V. Jacinto both ranked eight (8th). These accomplishments affirmed its undeniable caliber and cemented its seal of escellence in teacher education training in the country. Fueled with vigor and intense desire to create a better world for everyone to live in through the myriad responsibility of developing personalities and nurturing potentials, the College never stops upgrading its program offerings. As a fact, it is presently preparing for the global accreditation of the International Standardization Organization (ISO) which is scheduled on May 2013, a brilliant undertaking set to bring about the realization of its dream of an International Standard.

 

Truly, the College of Education proves itself worthy to be one of the University’s nine illustrious Colleges that bring honor and prestige to its name.

 

The College is also preparing for ISO Global Accreditation upcoming May 2013.

 

CED General Objectives

Preparation of competent teachers of the future capable of performing the task of nation-building and adequately competitive to the demands of globalization for the promotion of  life.

 

Specific Objectives
1.Develop students to become competent teachers.
2.Train the students to be socially responsible professionals.
3.Produce competent graduates who shall be employable graduates.

 

CED Programs

1.Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in:  English, Filipino, Mathematics, MAPEH, Social Studies, Science
2.Bachelor of Elementary Education Major in: General Education, Early Childhood Education
3.We also offer Crash Program for Early Childhood Education
