ISO: 9001: 2015 Weighs JRMSU Dapitan City Quality Management System

International Organization for Standardization conducted the 1st Surveillance Audit of the Quality Management System of Jose Rizal Memorial State University Main Campus, Dapitan City, whether the services are in good quality and standardized and geared with the scope of "Design, Development and Delivery of Services in Education, Research and Community Extension including Administration and Management last December 4, 2019 at CNAHS Audio Visual Hall.

The surveillance was conducted by the individuals coming from the Global Certification Philippines Incorporation that was led by Novalyn G. Tolentino with the members of the auditing team Ma. Cristina M. Coral and Engr. Manuel C. Aguilar.

The 2019 inspection was shorter than the annual audit because it was not a whole system audit. The external auditors selected specific department to be audited. These are the Graduate School, College of Education, Junior and Senior High School, College of Maritime Education, Security Office, College of Business and Accountancy, Maintenance Office, Registrar, University Risk Reduction Management, Accounting Office and the Administration as well as the competency, monitoring, internal audit and management, and the suppliers, purchasing and external providers.

It has a major and minor non-conformity. The Major non-conformity was the actual violation of regulatory requirements which has 90 days for the department to close out the issue. For Minor non- conformity, which the school has a single laps of the requirement of the standard, they were given 30 days to close out the issue.
