QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE JRMSU submits to AACCUP Preliminary Survey Visit

 

On the account of collaboration and peer evaluation in the pursuit of strategic institutional development, Jose Rizal Memorial State University embarks on a five-day Preliminary Survey Visit in view of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., on October 7-11, 2024. The revisit was conducted across the JRMSU campuses via online evaluation and Zoom participation.

The programs accredited during this revisit are as follows: DAPITAN CAMPUS: BS – Hospitality Management, BS – Tourism Management, Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Physical Education, BSED – Science; DIPOLOG CAMPUS: Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education, Bachelor of Physical Education, BSED – Science; KATIPUNAN CAMPUS: BSED – Filipino; TAMPILISAN CAMPUS: AB – English Language Studies, BS – Information Systems; and SIOCON CAMPUS: BS Information Systems.

The accreditors’ meritorious services guided the University in refining its standards and operational procedures. In valuable recognition, the University’s administration, represented by the Vice President for Administration, Dr. Reynaldo Venezuela, expressed gratitude to the reputable accreditors for their respected insight, constructive criticism, and indispensable expertise as the University embarked on this significant evaluation and as it embraced the rigorous critical steps on its quest for academic excellence.

Dr. Jay D. The JRMSU community, through the continuous support from the University President, Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, and with the efforts of the Quality Assurance Unit headed by Ms. Judith Milanie Marie Falconete, acknowledged the important contribution and significant role of the dedicated AACCUP Local Task Force, including the diligent AACCUP coordinators and accreditors: Dr. Matronillo M. JRMSU is committed to the rigorous procedures set by the AACCUP as it endeavors to build a shared commitment to elevate standards while pursuing the recommendations formulated by the accreditors. Campus Administrators from across campuses expressed their commitment to lead their respective domains, enhance program services and optimize resources. This collective effort aims to transform JRMSU into a hub for learning, innovation, and critical thinking, setting a new standard for high-quality education in the region.
