Secured Recognition in Startup Challenge 2024
Organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Jose Rizal Memorial State University substantiates its technopreneurial proficiency by securing spots during the Regional Pitching Competition of the Philippine Startup Challenge, October 15, 2024.
Raldin Disomimba, Stefhanie Ann Batucan, and Peter Ayono, along with their coach, Mr. Edgardo Olmoguez II from the Main Campus’ College of Computing Studies (CCS), introduced their Startup project “InnoVestPH” in the regional stage, securing the 4th runner-up spot and outclassing innovators from across Zamboanga Peninsula and Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-tawi. Meanwhile, “MotoCare” and “FarmBuddy” from JRMSU Tampilisan Campus also qualified for the said regional pitching competition.
The Philippine Startup Challenge 2024, spearheaded by the ICT Industry Development Bureau, is a platform that celebrates innovation and entrepreneurship in our country and is an avenue for aspiring students to harness their creativity through tech startups.
