JRMSU Forges Path for Faculty Excellence with WMSU

Seeking to reinforce significant university policies for its faculty, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) conducted an official benchmarking with the prestigious Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) on October 17, 2024 as it aims to refine its faculty merit-based promotion and selection.

This collaboration between JRMSU and WMSU serves as a stepping stone towards enhancing faculty development and ensuring a transparent, merit-based selection process.

Key figures from JRMSU were present to gain valuable insights from the benchmarking activity including the Vice President for Administration, Dr. Reynaldo M. Venezuela; the Chief Administrative Officer, Dr. Marissa M. Recapente; the Supervising Administrative Officer (SAO) Admin, Engr. Suzette M. Hoyohoy; and the Officer-in-charge of the Human Resources Management Office (HRMO), Mr. James Roselih H. Espinosa.

JRMSU extends its heartfelt gratitude to WMSU representatives who made this occasion possible: Dr. Nursia M. Barjose, the Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Joselito D. Madroñal, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Finance (VPAA&F), along with its other university heads.

Indeed, a smart move for JRMSU to synergize with other SMART universities towards the realization of a SMART UniverCity.
