Extension program entitled “Enhancing social skills by bringing children closer to nature through gardening”

The JRMSU Master of Arts in Social Science under the Graduate School program held an extension program entitled “Enhancing social skills by bringing children closer to nature through gardening” last December 13, 2021. The beneficiaries of the said program are the children of Carmelites Home for Children located at Sicayab, Dipolog City. With a total of twenty (20) children, the proponents of the project shared valuable inputs through different creative activities such as sowing seeds, dance workshops, drawing sessions, solving puzzles and action songs. These activities aimed to teach and strengthen in the children the values of sharing, obedience and respect.
