JRMSU dominates MASTS 2024; Overall champ in sports tilts

Showcasing the unparalleled prowess and determination of a JRMSUan, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) emerged as a formidable force during the Mindanao Association of State Tertiary Schools (MASTS) Games last November 24-29.

Clinching the top spot in the sports category, JRMSU showcased its dominance with an impressive haul of 79 gold, 26 silver, and 48 bronze medals, placing them ahead of North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) and University of Southern Mindanao (USM), who secured second and third places, respectively, among other 35 competing State Universities and Colleges.

In the socio-cultural category, JRMSU demonstrated exceptional talent and creativity, securing an impressive third place with a score of 44 points, placing them just behind the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), which scored 111 points, and Western Mindanao State University (WMSU), with 107 points.

MASTS 2024 aims to foster camaraderie, sportsmanship, and cultural exchange among SUCs in Mindanao, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents and skills in various academic, athletic, and socio-cultural competitions.

The JRMSU community, under the leadership of University President Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, extends its warmest congratulations to the victorious delegates of the Mindanao Association of Tertiary Schools, Inc.
