JRMSU inks MOA with Contractors and Suppliers

Positioning itself to get ahead this 2025, the Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) sealed partnerships through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed by the University President, Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, together with various contractors and suppliers on December 20, 2024 at the Filipiniana Section, University Library, JRMSU Main Campus.
With expectant anticipation over new projects and provisions, the academic institution is setting these partnerships into motion this 2025. The following purchases are essential for the general efficiency of university processes while securing the needs and comfort of stakeholders:

• Construction of Comfort Room Along Grandstand “B” (Rebid), PR No. 24-02-0323
• Improvement of CNAHS Building (Rebid), PR No. 24-02-0322
• Improvement of JRMSU Main Campus Gymnasium (Phase I), PR No. 24-05-0626
• Supply and Delivery of 5-Seater Pick-up Vehicle, PR No. 24-03-0448
• Supply and Delivery of 7-Seater Service Vehicle, PR No. 24-03-0447
• Procurement of Student Accident Insurance Plan (Rebid), PR. No. 24-03-0425
• Provision of Higher Education Service— ICT Equipment (Supply, Delivery, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of ICT)
• Provision of Higher Education Services— Other Machinery and • Equipment (Lot 2: Crime Laboratory Equipment), PR No. 24-09-0965
• Extension of Contract for the Provision of Security Services for 15 Agency Guards at JRMSU Main Campus, Dapitan City

Moreover, these partnerships were signed by respective contractors and trusted suppliers including representatives from the SB & T Construction, Toyota Zamboanga City, Paramount Life and General Insurance, Prince Valiant International Corporation, and Golden Buddha Security Services.

Key university officials joined the MOA Signing, including Vice President for Finance and BAC Chairperson Atty. Nizza P. Lesterio Absin, Vice President for Administration Dr. Reynaldo M. Venezuela, and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jay D. Telen. BAC members in attendance were Vice-Chairperson Atty. Lino P. Viadnes, Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Marissa M. Recapente, Supervising Administrative Officer Engr. Suzette M. Hoyohoy, Procurement Unit and BAC Secretariat Head Mr. Jorge Malazarte, Supply Officer Engr. Riza M. Mulle, along with Dapitan Campus Director Dr. Patrick G. Galetto and Tampilisan Campus Director Dr. Merlyn N. Luza.
