JRMSU GAD initiates Training Design on Gender Responsive Curriculum with OVPAA
Aimed to enhance the understanding and application of gender-responsive principles in curriculum development, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) conducted a two-day Training Design on Gender-Responsive Curriculum last March 13-14. The event was organized by the Gender and Development (GAD) Unit, headed by GAD Director Prof. Maurine Aime Quiboyen, in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA), headed by Dr. Jay D. Telen.
Assistant Prof. Arnold M. Ferolino, an esteemed resource speaker from the National Gender Resource Pool Philippine Commission on Women, provided insights to key academic leaders, including the JRMSU College Deans, Associate Deans, Program Chairpersons, and GAD Unit Heads. His discussion covered GAD legal mandates, concepts, issues, and best practices, with the goal of advancing gender equality in education and creating a lasting impact on the broader academic community.
