SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

DR. JOVELYN M. CANTINA
OIC, IMD Director

  1. Upholds the demands of the work.
  2. Conducts himself/herself according to the standard of integrity and morality in the Civil Service.
  3. Upholds and protects the name and integrity of the Office.
  4. Renders full efficient service to clientele.
  5. Attends to the immediate needs of the clients.
  6. Performs his/her duties and functions with a high degree of civic conscience.
  7. Protects at all times the interest of the IMD Office, and the constituents therein, either in writing, open discussion, or business transaction.
  8. Refrains from the performance of activities that are not related to duties and functions during office hours/transacting business with clients outside the office.
  9. Accomplishes records of clients and other forms properly and submit the same to offices concerned on time.
  10. Disseminates memos and other information to faculty and officials concerned.
  11. Makes memos and communication relative to IMD.
  12. Conceives designs, evaluates and disseminates instructional materials.
  13. Helps instructors develop their instructional materials.
  14. Provides, inquiry-based and pedagogically-sound instructional materials.
  15. Conducts activities, seminar-workshops and training relative to the development of instructional materials
  16. Submits IMs for ISBN.
  17. Contacts publishers for IMs publication.
  18. Provides updated, organized and readily accessible collection of print and non-print materials that support the academic curriculum of the JRMSU System.
  19. Preserves the IMDO collections of instructional materials.
  20. Provides access to IMD collections and services.
  21. Establishes linkages with reputable HEIs in the country.
  22. Exchanges instructional materials with reputable HEIs in the country.
  23. Maintains a management system through the development and review or policies, procedures, guidelines and format of instructional materials.
  24. Participates in national and international seminar-workshops and training relative to instructional materials development.
  25. Presides IMD meeting in the absence of the VPAA.
  26. Coordinates with the Vice-President for Academic Affairs.

  12. Observes economy in the use of office supplies or of IMD equipment and property.
  13. Protects at all times the interest of the IMD Office, and the constituents therein, either in writing, open discussion, or business transaction.
  14. Be genuinely concerned with the welfare of the clients.
  15. Refrains from the performance of activities that are not related to duties and functions during office hours/transacting business with clients outside the office.

  23. Makes office communication relative to IMD.
  24. Acts as secretariat, facilitator and documenter during the conduct of IMD activities in the college.

  36. Coordinates with the Campus IMD Coordinator, Dean of Instruction/Campus Administrator and Director for Instructional Materials Development.
