Accomplishments and Activities

Attended the Final Meeting-Writeshop for the Composition of the Permanent Technical Working Group and their Terms of Reference (TOR) for the Philippine-EAGA Center for Oceanography project on October 22-23, 2018 in Davao City.

Formulated a Manual of Operations for the office and was approved by the JRMSU Board of Regents.

Sent out one student under the LIFT program to Bangkok Thailand to participate in the Asia World Model United Nations II.

Took part in the preparation and conduct of the 16^th AUAP International Learning and Sharing Forum held at Dakak, Dapitan City.

Initiated and hosted an orientation on Research and Fellowship Opportunities in Europe, with Dr. Jenny Lind Elmaco as resource speaker.

Participated in the Communicating for Agriculture Exchange Program (CAEP) Orientation Forum that paved way to the establishment of the L-E-G (Learn-Earn-Grow) program.

Sent out one faculty from the Graduate School under the CRUISE program to Bangkok Thailand to attend the 17^th AsiaTEFL International Conference and the 6^th FLLT International Conference.

Sent out one faculty under the LIFT program to National Sun Yat-Sen University In Kaohsiung to sign up memorandum of understanding for possible partners and collaborators.

Participated in the 2^nd Taiwan Educational Fair in Cebu that paved a way for partnership with the National University of Kaohsiung.

Sent out three (3) faculty under the CRUISE program to Sogang University, South Korea, to have cooperative research undertakings and info-sharing that were re-echoed to the home university.

Hosted the BIMP-EAGA cum MINDANAO Development Corridor University Education Caravan – Western Mindanao Leg on October 17, 2019.

Sent out one faculty from the Agriculture department under the CRUISE program to the Universiti Putra Malaysia, Serdang, Selangor, Malaysia to participate in the ISSAAS 2019 International Congress & General Meeting 2019 “Reshaping Agriculture for Sustainable Development” on October 18-20, 2019.

Signing of (MOU) with the National University of Kaohsiung on November 22, 2019.

Initiated and hosted the first ever Peace Education Lecture in Mindanao with Dr. Kenneth Christie, Program Head, Human Security and Peacebuilding of Royal Roads University as resource speaker.

Took part in the preparation and conduct of the Linguistic Society of the Philippines International Conference 2020.

JRMSU’s accredited liaison officers for the Bureau of Immigration.
