JRMSU Produces New 17 Nurses

JRMSU College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences gains another momentous history for Jose Rizal Memorial State University Main Campus, Dapitan City, after producing ample number of alumni who did well in the recent Philippine Nurses Licensure Examination.

With perseverance, focus, and hard work, 17 graduates of Bachelor of Science in Nursing Batch Adelante Class of 2019 have successfully garnered a passing rate of 94.12% during the November 2019 Nursing Liscensure Examination held in the cities of Pagadian, Cagayan de Oro, and Cebu last November 16-17, 2019.

These newly registered nurses were Shanebie Abajar,RN, Jan Cynth C. Arellano,RN, Manilyn L. Balawag,RN, Lizamae O. Basa,RN, Mycha M. Basa,RN, Lalaine E. Bendanillo,RN, Lyka Laine J. Cañete,RN, Aisha R. Caorong,RN, Iman R. Caorong,RN, Luz Margellie L. Cubero,RN, Jade Guy B. Dulang,RN, Sheila May S. Eslit,RN, Gianne Chezyr A. Gucomon,RN, Roselai O. Lanioso,RN, Kerlen Lee E. Rudas,RN, and Ian L. Viola,RN.

In an interview with The State Collegian, Prof. Daisy J. Empeynado, Dean of the College of Nursing said that these students underwent intensive reviews conducted by the school and local review centers. “ This success is made possible through the students’ commitment and dedication in their four years of basic nursing education under the tutelage of all the clinical instructors.”, she added.

The Professional Regulation Commission announced that among the 13,816 examinees, 7,627 passed the said examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
