Two-day Klima Eskwela: Climate Science, Adaptation. Arts, and Action Session

The Two-day Klima Eskwela: Climate Science, Adaptation. Arts, and Action Session conducted by the Climate Reality Project Philippines in partnership with Climate Change Commission delved into the intersection of plastic pollution and the climate crisis held in the university last July 27-28, 2023.
More than 60 students and faculty members participated in the sessions focused on (1) climate governance, the climate lens of plastic pollution, and the integration of arts, culture, and action.
Towards the end of the said session, participants made agreement to lessen the consumption of single-use plastics, engage with school administration and local authorities to implement and expand plastic-free policies, support and actively participate in university-led initiatives and such. They were also given the opportunity to harness their creativity to communicate their vision of a sustainable future.
Thereby, we thank The Climate Reality Project Philippines organizing this knowledge exchange with us.
